Bollag International buys and sells textile fibers and by-products. A privately held, family business, Bollag International handles more than 125 million pounds (56,000 tons) a year of fibers, yarns, cuttings and mill wastes. These include synthetic staple fibers and tow; first-quality and custom manufactured fibers; high tenacity, textured and other yarns; producers and mill wastes; cotton, polyester, acrylic and wool cuttings; nylon extrusion waste and other products.

Bollag International builds long standing and exclusive relationships with fiber producers, creating a stable market for first quality and secondary fibers. The company handles nylon extrusion waste, intended for re-extrusion as plastics and fibers. Bollag also uses undrawn nylon yarn and acrylic tow to manufacture its own staple.

Bollag International was founded in Zurich, Switzerland in 1933. It is now headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, and operates in North and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
